David R. Reid is a native of Springfield, Illinois. He has practiced law for over twenty (20) years. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois, Florida, Georgia and the U.S. Tax Court. Prior to opening his own firm in 1995, he practiced law with Brown, Hay and Stephens and the Office of Chief Counsel, IRS. During his tenure as an attorney for the IRS, he was the National Coordinator for a tax shelter project and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for Bankruptcy. Mr. Reid was also involved in extensive litigation on behalf of the IRS in U.S. Tax Court.
Mr. Reid received a J.D. in 1983 from the University of Miami. He received an LLM Taxation Degree in 1992 from Emory University. Mr. Reid also received an MBA Degree from Florida International University in 1979 and a Master of Public Administrative Degree from Sangamon State University. |
